Reports
LOCATION® Analyst provides
intelligent and insightful reporting. Tables and data displays
complement the system's visual mapping capabilities. All report data
links to its corresponding mapped location, which you use to navigate
between the map and report. Reports can include graphs and charts,
offering an efficient way to summarize large amounts of data.
Custom reports
Use the power of ESRI's GIS with Crystal Reports from SAP
BusinessObjects. With this sophisticated report-generation software,
create your own custom reports to meet any business need — limited only
by your imagination.
LOCATION Analyst also offers built-in stock reports — and the ability to create hundreds more.

Risk Profile Report
Easily classify and weight your interpretation of single or multiple
LOCATION risk-exposure data layers, such as PPC™ or crime, and gain
insight on your premium and coverage by level of risk. Using
user-defined risk profiles, the comprehensive Risk Profile Report
generates maps and reports quickly that allow you to gain perspective
on your entire book of business. The report shows risk distribution
classified into user-defined categories, such as medium and high, for
your book of business for specified study areas.

Using crime data to profile risk in a book of
business, you can see that about 11 percent of the policies are in
high-risk areas. But those risks account for almost 20 percent of the
Coverage A total.

Risk Concentration Report
See where your policies are geographically concentrated, given your
tolerance for risk, with the Risk Concentration Report. You select your
risk classifications and areas you want to study. LOCATION Analyst
generates a map showing policy concentration — and creates a report
that groups your assets by their relative concentration.

You can map policies in a selected study area around
an earthquake fault and then observe their risk-concentration level
geographically. You can see large clusters of policies in areas near
and around the fault line. The red areas, representing extreme
earthquake risk, contain 335 of the 966 total policies, or almost 35
percent of the total. The orange areas, representing high earthquake
risk, contain 325 policies, or 34 percent of the total. This
information can help you determine if the company is taking on too much
risk in areas with a high likelihood of peril.

Market Prospect Report
Pursue new opportunities to grow your book of business with the Market
Prospect Report. You can query demographic criteria (such as population
density or number of households) to get a map and report that show
areas that meet your criteria. The report is a valuable tool to help
you plan effective marketing campaigns.

You can profile the geographic areas where you
currently write your best-performing business based on census
demographics and any other geographic data of interest to you. In this
example, you can use population density per square mile and number of
households to select areas of interest, excluding areas where you
currently write more than 50 policies per census block group. The
census block group with the highest population density (the dark brown
area on the map and the highlighted area on the report) offers a good
opportunity to pursue new business. You can determine viable market
prospecting opportunities in similar areas.
