In response to the need for comprehensive, high-quality information, A-PLUS and TransUnion have joined forces to offer you an innovative risk-evaluation tool for auto and property underwriting — Credit Loss History Scores.

Credit Loss History Scores provide an innovative combination of credit and loss-history information from two industry leaders. And they're consumer-friendly and easy to read.

You'll get information to help you:

• offer more competitive pricing
• lower your loss ratios over time
• make more consistent decisions
• educate your policyholders about what they can do to cut their premiums

How does the system work?
Credit Loss History Scores offer a powerful combination of information in a single risk score. First, the system combines credit data from TransUnion's extensive database with comprehensive loss-history information from A-PLUS. TransUnion then applies world-class analytics to create a risk score that can help you quickly understand and manage each risk.

We'll return information in an easy-to-read report that includes the score and detailed information on up to four scoring factors.

A low score indicates a probable poor risk — one you should closely evaluate to assign an appropriate coverage and price. A high score indicates a better risk — one that can improve your bottom line.

Each report also provides detailed information on up to four scoring factors. For each factor, you'll get information on any action or condition that negatively affected the score, the optimum value for that factor, and in some instances, an explanation of what the consumer can do to improve the score.

You must subscribe to A-PLUS and be a TransUnion customer to be eligible for Credit Loss History Scores through ISO Passport.
