Collateral risk assessment
ValVerifySM, from ISO's Interthinx unit, is a scoring system for evaluating a property's collateral value and risk potential.
When you make any mortgage loan, you need to know the true value of the property. ValVerify looks at all data from the Uniform Residential Loan Application (Form 1003) — along with comprehensive data from other sources — to confirm the property's valuation and assess risk.
ValVerify includes proprietary algorithms that score the collateral for potential fraud. The evaluation considers:
- transaction analysis
- neighborhood analysis
- chain-of-title report
- automated valuation model (AVM) results
- occupancy
- exposure
- comparable sales
- market analysis
