PREFFISSM (Pre-Funding Fraud Filter System), from ISO's Interthinx unit, lets you screen loan applications for fraud and misrepresentation before incurring many origination expenses.
Even if you have only limited loan data — such as name, address, and Social Security number — you can get a confidence score on the data. PREFFIS is ideal for prequalifications (partial 1003 applications). And it's perfect for warehouse or wholesale lenders or investors who don't receive full mortgage application data from third-party sources.
PREFFIS is a web-based system that gives you a score at the point of sale. Or you can use our batch options to evaluate a group of loans.
And if you use PREFFIS to prescreen your applications, you can convert to the more robust FraudGUARDSM system later, when you have more information. There's a small incremental charge.
