William M. Raichle is vice president of Risk Decision Services at ISO, part of Verisk's risk assessment business segment. He is responsible for the company's national field-operations group, including more than 600 field representatives and 150 support center staff. The group performs on-site surveys to gather insurance-specific information about individual properties and businesses. The field-operations group also evaluates municipal fire protection, building-code enforcement, and flood mitigation in communities throughout the country. In addition, Dr. Raichle is responsible for Verisk's ProMetrix® suite of services for commercial property insurance and the LOCATION® and LOCATION Analyst GIS product line. He also provides leadership for the product development, engineering, technical training, GIS strategy, marketing, sales account management, and financial planning functions of Risk Decision Services. Earlier in his career, Dr. Raichle served as director of recruiting and training for Apple Savings Bank of New York, head of compensation and organization development in ISO's Human Resources Division, and assistant vice president of ISO's Underwriting Services Division. He also served as an adjunct professor in the graduate management program at Polytechnic University of New York and has authored numerous publications on commercial property underwriting and applied geographic analytics. He has more than 20 years of experience in product management at Verisk. Dr. Raichle holds a bachelor of science degree from St. Francis College in Pennsylvania, a master's degree from Shippensburg State University, and a Ph.D. from New York University.
